Very cool place! Wide selection of great condition guitars and amps. Staff is beyond friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I wanted to test out a guitar but wasn’t sure about it, they were very understanding and let me buy it for 3 days to test it at home with my set up. Even though the guitar wasn’t for me, they were very helpful in the process and helped me determine what I do want. Will shop here!

I recently bought a 1961 Stratocaster from Emerald City, I worked with Kelly or (Kell) and he was very friendly and worked with me to make the purchase as smooth as possible. I now own my dream guitar and hope to have many good years with it!! It was all original as described, my only gripe would be that the frets didn't have as much life to them as I was told, but I was probably going to do a re-fret at some point so not a deal breaker. Guitar was packed very well for shipping. And they were nice enough to give my wife and me a T-shirt. Would definitely do business with them again!

This place is a temple to the Gods of Guitars. Everything you can think of. They have it. I brought my son, who plays a little, got lost in Wonder. The friendly staff brought a guitar out for him to try. We took lots of pictures. Sadly, we did not get anything this visit. Most of the guitars are one of a kind and precious. When he does get that personal guitar... It will definitely be here.

Wish every online purchase could be this smooth and easy. The staff are all beyond friendly and helpful, and super responsive over email. Bought a Novo at a fantastic price from them, and they shipped it out to me in Colorado with maybe the best packaging I've ever seen, incredibly thorough. They even threw in a free setup!

I came with a friend to play a couple of guitars because we saw there is a great selection of vintage ones. I played a couple of Gibson acoustics , and especially one of them from the 40s blew my mind ! Feel and sound over the stars. When I mentioned to the personnel that I came from Switzerland , they’ve been so kind to offer me the guitar string that I needed + a shops t-shirt that you see in picture . Fantastic experience , thx a lot guys I hope to see you soon again.

One of the best guitar stores around. Amazing gear. Staff that care. Not to mention.. I forgot my backpack there while traveling, and a staff member stayed behind after hours to see if I would come back. I did. Saved my trip.. great place, amazing staff. Incredible guitars

Absolutely incredible vintage guitar shop! Its like visiting a museum, except the staff want you to play the instruments. Living music history here. If you're a musician, its a must when visiting in Seattle.

Amazing!! Highly recommend. Everyone there is awesome, and the selection is out of this world. Legit my favorite music store I’ve ever stepped foot into. You have to come here if you’re looking for some gear.

Staff was incredibly friendly. They didn’t know I could play, but handed me a pre-War acoustic Gibson off the wall all the same. Would buy from Emerald City when in the market for a vintage or high-end guitar a 1000 x’s over. It’s a lovely shop, one of the best collections I’ve seen, and really good people.

One of the best guitar shops in the city! An incredible collection of all kinds of vintage guitars, and a badass bass collection to boot! Super nice folks; it’s a very homely vibe. I could hang out here for hours! Included photo is just one small part of the shop.
